Opened in 2018, Domo Alley-Gato Tatsu-Ya is an outdoor patio bar from Tatsu Aikawa and the team behind the acclaimed Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Kemuri Tatsu-ya, and Tiki Tatsu-Ya. Tucked beside Ramen Tatsu-Ya’s East 6th location, Domo draws inspiration from Japan’s tachinomiya (standing bars) and yokocho (narrow alleyway bars), creating a vibrant, laid-back atmosphere that blends Austin energy with Japanese street culture. Guests can sip on craft cocktails, Kirin Ichiban Cold Caps, and a curated selection of sake and beer while ordering ramen, sides, and small bites from the neighboring Ramen Tatsu-ya kitchen.
